About
Jeetumoni Basumatary is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English, Cotton University. She earned her Ph.D degree from Gauhati University in 2023 under Prof. Nandana Dutta's guidance. Her thesis was titled "Cultural Nationalism and Identity Formation: Literature and the Berber Cultural Movement in Algeria". She has contributed chapters to books on her research interests. She has also contributed articles to various journals and little magazines on her research interests. Her other interests are theatre and translation, and she has scripted two plays in Bodo and has translated Bodo poetry and fiction into English, and vice versa.
