About

Anupom Kumar Hazarika received a BA from Debraj Roy College, Golaghat, where he majored in English and minored in Mathematics and Environmental Science. He holds two MAs, one in English from Dibrugarh University and another in Mass Communication from Tezpur University. He earned an M.Phil in English from Gauhati University where he had written his thesis on R. Raj Rao's novels. He currently teaches at Cotton University and contributes occasional literary pieces to newspapers and online literary magazines.

Hazarika has had poetry published in CC&D Magazine, Nagaland PageSparkTerror House Magazine, The Assam Tribune, and The Chakkar. His articles have appeared in various publications, including Guwahati PlusIn Plainspeak, Live Mint, Pink Advocate, The Assam Tribune, The Chakkar, and The Eastern Today. Mentored by Andrew Otis Haschemeyer who was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University’s Creative Writing Program and currently teaches for Stanford’s “Online Writer’s Studio,” Hazarika is currently working on his science fiction novella to be published by BluOne Ink next year.
