About

Anupom Kumar Hazarika joined the faculty at Cotton University in January, 2021. He received a BA from Debraj Roy College, Golaghat, where he majored in English and minored in Environmental Science and Mathematics. He obtained an MA in English from Dibrugarh University and an MPhil in English from Gauhati University. Also, he earned a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Tezpur University. His research interests are Indian English Literature, Queer Literary Narratives and Science Fiction.

Hazarika has had poetry published in CC&D Magazine, Nagaland PageSparkTerror House Magazine, The Assam Tribune, and The Chakkar. His essays on bullying, gender, Harry Potter movies, masculinity, mobile applications, poetry, the science fiction genre, science fiction series and space exploration have appeared in various publications, including Guwahati PlusIn Plainspeak, Live Mint, Pink Advocate, The Assam Tribune, The Chakkar, and The Eastern Today.
