About
Afsana B. Barbhuiyan is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, Cotton University (erstwhile Cotton College). She holds a PhD from Gauhati University from the Department of Folklore Research. She has worked extensively in the area of folklore. She is also keenly interested in the study of language and ELT that lead her to complete a certificate course from CIEFL, Hyderabad. Her other areas of interest include Performing Arts, Cinema, Cultural Studies, African Studies, World literature, New literatures Films and Contemporary literature , Communication studies.
